The Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) develops and manages housing for people who are low-income and/or homeless, provides technical assistance to communities and other non-profits, and advocates for housing for all. LIHI provides over 2,000 affordable apartments in the Puget Sound region. Seattle/King County has over 11,500 homeless people with over 4,500 who are unsheltered. LIHI sponsors eight tiny house villages that provide a crisis response to homelessness. We provide supportive services to move people into long-term housing as well as access to healthcare, employment and other services.
