Job Description

KCHA is currently recruiting for a talented Asset Manager to work in the Asset Management department located in Tukwila, Washington.

This is professional work monitoring and evaluating the financial, legal, operational and property development activities for a portfolio of tax credit and/or bond financed properties.  The successful candidate will ensure properties are fiscally sound and viable investments, are physically maintained, and are in compliance with all lender, IRS, HUD and other regulatory requirements, KCHA policies and procedures, agreements, programs and covenants.  Responsibilities also include acting as owner's representative for the partnership in any dealings; preparing reports, forecasts, and projections on managed properties; participating in managed property cash management efforts, debt service funding, and partnership investment and tax filing requirements; and researching and reporting on HUD housing requirements to maintain HUD and KCHA compliance

Qualifications and Competencies

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related field AND 
  • Three years of experience in accounting, finance, property management, or real estate OR
  • An equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
