JOB SUMMARY:
King County Housing Authority, the largest affordable housing provider in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking the next leader for its Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) programs.
As a key position on KCHA’s senior leadership team, the Director oversees KCHA’s largest housing division, administering rental subsidies for over 13,500 households. The Director works closely with a broad array of both internal and external stakeholders to address regional housing challenges. As a Moving to Work (MTW) Housing Authority, KCHA has significant flexibility in shaping HCV policies and procedures to achieve its goals.
The individual selected for this role will, under the supervision of the Deputy Executive Director for Housing Assistance Programs, oversee KCHA’s Housing Choice Voucher Programs, developing goals and objectives, monitoring progress, setting budgets, managing contracts, supervising all Department personnel and assuring compliance with government regulations. The work will involve setting policies and determining program approaches in consultation with the Deputy Executive Director for Housing Assistance Programs and the Executive team.
