Job Summary
Effective December 1, 2021, the King County Housing Authority has instituted a COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Policy that requires all regular, part-time, and temporary employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for the health and safety of its workplace and community. Newly hired employees must provide proof to KCHA Human Resources after an offer of employment has been made and before their first day of employment that they are fully vaccinated. Individuals with a qualifying medical or religious reason may submit a request for exemption and reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations will be made for qualifying individuals if the accommodations do not present an undue hardship.
We are currently recruiting for two talented and passionate Subsidy Retention Coordinators (Resident Services Coordinators) that will serve Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and Public Housing residents in the Southwest and Northeast Regions of King County. One position will be based at a KCHA office in White Center and one position will be based at a KCHA office in Kirkland.
Under the general supervision of the Resident Services Manager, the Subsidy Retention Coordinators will work with HCV and Public Housing recipients to maintain housing stability by providing services to support compliance with lease and program requirements and acting as a liaison between program participant, including system navigation with private or KCHA property management and HCV staff. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide resource and referral services to HCV and Public Housing residents and will coordinate community events and activities to promote resident stability and engagement.
The White Center based position will assist HCV participants and Public Housing residents in the Southwest area (Federal Way, Tukwila, Des Moines and White Center).
The Kirkland based position will assist HCV participants and Public Housing residents in the Northeast area (Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Woodinville, Kenmore and Shoreline).

Salary & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $62,417.00 - $76,460.00 annually and is over-time exempt. Physical Work Environment:
